TSBA keeps members informed about the latest trends in education with its publications. The Journal, a quarterly magazine and BoardTalk, a monthly newsletter, keep Tennessee board members up to date on what’s happening with other school boards across the state and nation. The Tennessee School Law Quarterly offers case summaries of Tennessee court decisions at both the trial and appellate levels, federal district court decisions and Sixth Circuit decisions, as well as opinions from the Office of the State Attorney General. TLN Notes provides news and updates about the Tennessee General Assembly, State Board of Education, State Department of Education, and other education-related organizations. GrantStation Insider is an online resource newsletter for those school systems with grantseeking goals.
TSBA offers a public relations subscriber service, BRIDGES, which is a newsletter that can help your schools in the planning, writing, artwork and production of publications, as well as the planning and execution of events and activities
TSBA’s Ambassador Program is a community outreach program that assists local school board members in increasing public awareness and understanding of issues facing our communities, state and nation.
TSBA offers an Employer Commendation Program which recognizes those organizations that make a special point of encouraging and supporting employees who serve on school boards.
